Many lab services are covered by insurance, but coverage varies by plan. We’ll work with you to verify benefits and provide clear cost estimates. PGx testing and some specialty labs may not be covered; in those cases, we offer private-pay options with full transparency.

No, but most patients prefer the convenience of in-house testing. If you already have recent labs or prefer to use an outside lab, we can coordinate those records into your care.

Not necessarily. Lab testing is recommended based on your individual treatment plan. Some patients may need labs to safely begin or continue psychiatric medications, while others may benefit from testing to rule out physical contributors to mental health symptoms. We’ll only suggest labs when they’re clinically relevant to your care.

Most routine lab results are available within 1–3 business days, and we review them with you as soon as they’re ready. PGx (genetic) testing may take slightly longer, typically 5–10 days, but we’ll notify you as soon as results are received and help you understand what they mean.
